Resin is one of the resources in Astroneer. It can be obtained by trading resources on the Trade Platform, through the Research Station, or by mining it from deposits and spires on Planets. It costs 1 Resin to create a Platform expansion off a Habitat or another Platform, and 2 Resin to expand a Platform into a Module Platform.
Trivia
- During the 131 version of astroneer, player may sometimes collect a gold colored resin in place of a normal one, this is however only a graphical glitch as the color will be reversed back after reloading the save.
