Description
Smaller than the Wind Turbine, the Small Wind Turbine is a power source that can be placed on a Module, Vehicle, or on the side slots of an astroneer's Backpack (while attachable to other slots, it will not operate elsewhere). The wind vane will only produce power while in windy weather.
Production
A wind vane produce 0.5 units/sec, or 8 secs/bar worth of energy (same as the small solar panel).
It means that without any other source of energy (other than the backpack's default regeneration), a single wind vane will fill a backpack main battery in about 12 seconds (it would be 20 seconds without the backpack's regeneration).
When placed on Modules, a wind vane will fill one bar of battery in 8 seconds. So for instance, the 8-bar battery of a Research station will be filled by one wind vane in 64 seconds.
Crafting
The Small Wind Turbine can be crafted in the player's backpack, using 1 piece of Aluminium.
