Horns are recreational items that are intended to be used on Rovers, but can be interacted with the Use key (F on PC).

Crafted Horns[]

Crafted horns can be made at any time by the player in the Backpack, Small Printer, and Medium Printer.

Discovered Horns[]

Discovered Horns are found in various locations on different planets. They are functionally the same as crafted horns, with different appearances and sounds.

Small Horn Instruments[]

Small Horns are able to change their sound to a different instrument when placed upon Icon Medium Resource Canister Medium Resource Canisters, Icon Large Resource Canister Large Resource Canisters, or Icon Medium Gas Canister Medium Gas Canisters filled with a resource. Every resource produces a different instrumental sound, with the pitch of the horn changed depending on the amount of the resource placed inside of the canister. Medium Canisters play notes from C3 to G5, while Large Resource Canisters play notes from C1 to C#5, with each note changing every 8 nuggets. Semitones may be produced when placing less than 8 nuggets to reach the next note, allowing for large canisters to provide a larger range of music.
