Research Itemss are a variety of Tier-2 objects. There are many variations of them -- ranging from shapes, colors, and locations where they can be found. They are used in Research to unlock several new schematics.
All crashed pods resemble fabricated modules. They are white and/or blue with a darker finish on the lining of the container.
