I have a save file of about 14 MB. My friends were trying to join my session through steam and we had assumed the game was stuck at the 'Loading Solar System' screen because the progress bar wasn't moving. However, it turns out we were impatient and that the bandwidth is capped. In our search for answers we came across many players reporting the issue but it took a long time to find a solution. The solution was found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Astroneer/comments/mhi4mf/how_to_fix_slow_multiplayer_loading_times/ As mentioned in the post, their solution was found on the fandom wiki for 'Satisfactory' which was applicable because both games use the same unreal ini files.
