The Trade Platform is one of the Modules in Astroneer that allows the player to acquire raw unprocessed resources by trading Scrap.

Uses
Scrap is required to use the Trade Platform, with each resource requiring different amounts of scrap. When the player places enough scrap in the slots and presses the button, it will take roughly 50 seconds to return with the resources.

- Scrap:Resource ratio means for every X scrap, you get Y resource in return (e.g. 1:2 means for every 1 scrap, you get 2 resource.)

Trivia
- When you confirm a trade, the Trade Platform blasts into space before shortly returning to its "dock", implying that the planetary system the Player is on is relatively close to humanity. Or it docks to the mothership the Player launched it's drop pod from.
- As of version 1.0, The Trade Platform can still be used without being placed on a platform and does not require power to operate.
